CONDUCTORS

Aljosa Skorja (or, Josh as he is usually known in England) studied musicology and later choral conducting at the University of Ljubljana, before continuing his education as a postgraduate conducting student at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester with Clark Rundell. Alex Kyle conducted the choir for two seasons, 2014 and 2015

 

He is one of the full time choral directors with the Diocese of Leeds Schools Singing Programme which delivers high-quality choral leadership to over 50 primary schools all over Yorkshire. He also works with Vocalis Chamber Choir and the Harrogate Choral Society's new project, Halcyon Youth Choir.
